Week 2 – Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans
The Baltimore Ravens travel West to face the Houston Texans at NGR Stadium on Sunday at 4:25pm. The last time the two teams met was in Week 11 last season where the Ravens pummelled the Texans in a score of 41-7 at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Ravens are coming off a spetacular 38-6 win against the Cleveland Browns. Lamar Jackson received the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance. He completed 20 of 25 passes for 275 yards, three touchdowns and a QB rating of 152.1. Jackson has quieted many critics about his passing ability, which has improved from last season. He has proven that he can beat a team with his arm. With a few new additions, the Ravens offense and defense have stepped up to another level.
The Texans are coming off of their first loss of the season to the Kansas City Chiefs. The team is without their star wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, who was traded to the Arizona Cardinals back in March.
The Texans still have enough playmakers to challenge the Ravens. Defensive end J.J. Watt can still shake the Ravens offensive line to the point that the Ravens have him double covered. Wide receiver Will Fuller had a 100-yard game in Week 1, catching eight passes for 112 yards.
While the Ravens attempt their second win, the Texans will be looking for revenge from last season and to have a win at home.
